Hardheadz plan to release the full-length studio album, Relaspe: Still Addicted, in Fall 2005. The album is a personal reflection on current issues ranging from love, money, and drugs, to politics and the state of the music industry. The album is a continuation of their 2002 demo release, It's Ours, and 2004 LP, Addicted Since the release of their demo, Hardheadz has performed over 100 shows spanning from Massachusetts to North Carolina and has had the fortune to share the stage with artists such as the Black Eyed Peas, Gangstarr, N.E.R.D., Talib Kweli, The Used, The Exies, and Cee-Lo. A group of versatile and seasoned musicians, producers, and writers, Hardheadz captures a wide market of listeners, attracting fans from all genres of music. Each band member plays a significant role in song development, bringing their own musical influences to the song-writing process. Coming from a blues/rock background, Jason Motoshige contributes acoustic and electric guitar riffs. Steve Demby provides the pulse for the group via the drums, congas, and other percussion instruments, while his brother, Jeremy, artfully displays melodic chords and progressions, adding a soulful sound through an array of keyboard textures. Finally, Michael Allen polishes each song by combining his unique voice with intelligent lyrics. With this combination of creative minds, Hardheadz will continue to please crowds, attempting to stamp their permanent impression on the music industry. |
